What customers say?

“ Fish and chips were very nice, good portion , light batter on the fish and the chips fried to order . The peas were a bit unseasoned , coleslaw ok. It felt a bit expensive overall. ”

- Alexander Gkikas -

“ I ate here when it first opened and was a little underwhelmed, but apparently they had problems with their equipment and had to close for a while. Since reopened, I returned and was surprised at the improvement. You can take away or eat in the restaurant space next door (as I did). The chips were good and the haddock very crisp and tasty. I liked it a lot. £9.50 for the fish & chips. ”

- Peter Gasston -

“ This is my favorite fish & chips in London - they sprinkle fried batter scraps into the batter creating a crunch like shattered glass. ”

- Jeffrey Merrihue -

“ We had a lovely meal here and excellent service. The mushy peas with mint were especially good, the fish was moist and beautifully battered. I prefer my chips fried a little darker but they were crisp and all in all it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend. ”

- Jilloe Sorbara-Parsons -

“ Dined in here with my partner and loved every minute of it. The inside seating was nice and intimate. We ordered cod and chips with a side of curry sauce, mushy peas and a bread roll, all of which was cooked to perfection. If I’m ever in the area again I will be back for sure ”

“ Ordered from here for the first time today via Just Eat, the chips were amazing. Battered sausage was what you’d expect from a British chippy. I ordered the curry sauce for my chips, but unfortunately while it added something nice, it was way too thin/watery and not very flavourful. Oh and I ordered a “Victorian” lemonade, which wasn’t sent with my order. I’d still order again. ”

- Daniel Fitzgerald -

“ Great food. Best option for fish and chips around Peckham We order only some fish this time. And Fladda send some extra chips to upgrade our diner. Fantastic Many thanks ”

- Andrepower 1900 -

“ The fish and chips here are very very good. I ordered a portion of fish and chips, and a side portion of Calamari and some tartare sauce. Got it home, and the calamari was still crispy on the outside, as was the fish. A good start. The size of the fish was decent, as was the portion of Calamari, and the chips were very good. The Calamari was perfectly cooked, with a good bite and snap, and not at all chewy. The fish was flaky with a good flavour and the chips were as good as chips are going to be considered they're just fried potatoes. But I can say they were much better than average. It's a new place it seems, or maybe I've just never noticed it till now. But the owner seems like a nice fella. Service was brisk courteous and professional. Good hygiene practices were followed and the shop was very clean, and modern looking. They have a restaurant next door apparently but I did not venture there, they also have some seating outside. This is going to be my new regular chippy going forward as I enjoyed the food served here. I'll also consider eating in if the opportunity arises. ”
